Website Care Plan

Our Website Care Plan keeps your site secure, fast, backed up, and updated so you can focus on running your business. These terms describe what is included and how the plan works. The Care Plan is provided by Matthew Carpenter LLC, doing business as Ovis Digital, and is subject to our Terms of Service.

What's Included

  • Hosting on a managed, performance-tuned platform with HTTPS/SSL.
  • Daily backups retained for at least 30 days, with restore on request.
  • Software updates for the underlying platform, plugins, and dependencies we manage.
  • Security monitoring with automated scans and intrusion alerts.
  • Uptime monitoring and response to outages during business hours.
  • Small content updates — text edits, image swaps, link changes, and minor styling tweaks. The number of update requests included per month is specified in your plan tier.
  • Email and chat support during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm Pacific).

What's Not Included

  • New page builds, redesigns, or significant feature additions — these are quoted separately.
  • Custom development work outside of the platform we built or migrated for you.
  • Third-party fees you pay directly (domain registration, premium plugins or software, paid integrations, ad spend).
  • Content writing, photography, graphic design, and SEO strategy work — these are available as separate services.
  • Recovery from issues caused by changes made outside of our access.

Response Times

We aim to acknowledge requests within one business day and complete small updates within two to three business days, depending on plan tier and request complexity. Critical issues affecting site availability are prioritized.

Billing and Cancellation

The Care Plan is billed monthly or annually, in advance. You may cancel with 30 days' written notice to hello@ovis.digital; service continues through the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds for partial months are not provided. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for full details.

Site Ownership After Cancellation

You own your website content and design. If you cancel, we will provide a clean export of your site files and database within 14 days of cancellation so you can migrate to another host. Any third-party tools or licenses we resold to you will revert to your direct responsibility.

Limitations

We use industry-standard practices to protect your site, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime, immunity from attack, or that all third-party plugins and integrations will remain compatible indefinitely. Liability under the Care Plan is limited as described in our Terms of Service.
